Scenery: Blue Sunset (Whiskey Run Beach, OR)

Taken at my favorite beach, Whiskey Run, on the gorgeous Oregon Coast, I loved the blues that evening! I took TONS of photos, but I liked the way this one pretty much naturally framed itself using the contrast of sunshine and shadows.

Whiskey Run is known for its black sand deposits, signalling that there are platinum and Oregon gold deposits somewhere nearby! I've walked this beach so many time with my husband and friends. We've even found starfish carcasses, a tiny blue deceased crab, perfectly cleaned out, and so many gorgeous rocks from the stream.
