How do I get rust off of my son's tricycle?

Believe it or not Coke removes rust-scary, huh! I'd put a cloth around the rust spot, soak it with Coke and leave overnite.

Go to a bicycle shop and ask for a rust remover. It will remove all rust, including that on the wheel rims. For the body of the trike, spray with Rustoleum.

Hi Sue! If it's quite a bit of rust, you could probably use a wire brush and some sandpaper. If it's only a small amount of rust, you can use plain pencil lead and "color" the rust and it should come off. Then paint it with some paint that inhibits rust.
