When we adopted her about 5 months ago and the SPCA said she was a Mini Dachshund but couldn't decipher the other mixes. Some people have told me she looks like a mini-Dachshund/Chihuahua mix or Mini-Dachshund Rat terrier. I love her with all my heart no matter what she is but I would really like to know. I wasn't sure what his dad was but after looking at the photos I would say dachshund. So I would say your dogs other half is Jack Russell. Your mom is probably right. Does she have a deep chest? (dachsunds do.) If she has short legs, bug eyes, a deep chest, and a long body - dachshund/chihuahua is probably right. My dog resembles a chihuahua but has some miniature pinsher in him.
