Instead of buying "Soft Scrub" for your cleaning where you need bleach, buy liquid dishwasher soap. It has bleach and works great. The best part is that you get 3-4 times more for the same price as the Soft Scrub and it goes farther.

Dishwasher Detergent is also great for cleaning blinds. My brother taught me this when he owned a house-cleaning business in Palm Springs, CA. Fill the bathtub with enough water to cover the blinds. Add the dishwasher detergent. Cascade works best and let the blinds soak for a couple of hours. No scrubbing necessary. Rinse by turning on the shower. Have a heavy bath towel ready and you're all set. They're ready to hang.
