Tongue Depressor Sander

Cut a piece of sandpaper to fit on the end of a tongue depressor or popsicle stick and glue it on. Then trim off any excess sandpaper. Let the glue dry and you have a handy little sander for sanding hard-to-reach places.

No need to go through all that. You can go to any beauty supply store or dollar store and find small emery board including spongy ones for small spaces. While your there grab a bag of cosmetic wedges (sponges). by clipping on a clothes pin you have an instant disposable sponge brush for painting etc. Leaves a great finish and handy for small jobs

To make a better tongue depressor sander,instead of gluing the sandpaper to the tongue depressor go to an automotive or maybe a hardware store and buy sandpaper that already has the glue attached to the sandpaper.3M Co. and others have had pre glued sandpaper available for years.Makes a smoother sanding surface as well.
