I got a fantastic deal at Wal-Mart yesterday and wanted to share. They had tee shirts and shorts on sale, and since I needed all new for this summer I got some. The shorts I got were $6 each. Some were knit stretchy material, some were nice cotton ones that I'll be hanging up and saving for those days when I'm going somewhere and want to look nicer.
The tee shirts I got were $5-6. They also had tank tops for $4. The "green" tee shirts were $6 and really nice. I got 10 pair of shorts, 8 tee shirts, and $50 in groceries for under $150! What a buy!
Great deal! I bought 2 T-shirts at WalMarts for $1.00 each last week - odd color. I got Just My Size & Hanes sweatshirts at the Dollar Store about a month ago! I love a deal.
Last year the dollar trees had hanes t-shirts in all sizes from 2t boys girls to plus men and women up to size 5X for $1 each. They came in assorted colors and type sleeves like short sleeve cap sleeves for girls and muscle tanks too for boys. They have them again this year too, we just got back from the dollar tree today and I got 2 muscle shitrs and a black t-shirt for my 5 yr old grandson. They keep them just all tossed in a shopping buggy. Some will have a tiny mark on it or a pin hole but most have nothing wrong with them at all. I let him wear some plain but I have an embroidery machine so on some I put designs on the front for him or me. And for $1 you can not beat that for a great deal.
Gee - I almost never spend more than $5-7 on shorts & I like $1 tshirts (some quite new) from thrift shops. Just got a new one yesterday! Also bought a Jones of NY 2-piece short set at Goodwill for $3.99 for the SET + a Sr. Citizen discount!
