Buy mini canvas tote bags (or larger). Next decorate them with any embellishments you like. (lace, fringe, beaded trim, pom-poms, fancy ribbons). Your choices are only limited by your imagination. Hope you like them!
We got a 4 pack of these during a recent visit to my parents - when my son (2) and his cousin (7) were together. There was a lot going on, and the 7 year old was feeling left out. I had him make a bag for himself with his favorite dragon drawings on it (we used pastels that you iron to set the picture) and then decorate one for his little cousin. My son loves his "train bag". And then the two boys made a "hand bag" for grandma by tracing their hands on one of the totes. She carried it to the rehearsal dinner for a family wedding. Great memories - and so inexpensively!
