No Bake Cookies

We love this recipe because it's fast and easy. Taste is great. These are great when your short for time. I put them in my kid's lunches.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 cups oatmeal

Directions:

Mix sugar, butter, cocoa, and milk in medium saucepan. Boil for 1 minute. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Mix quickly until peanut butter melts, and then add oatmeal. Mix well until blended. Drop spoonfuls on tin foil or wax paper and allow to set and cool. That's it. I usually double this recipe.

Servings: 2 dozen 3 inch cookies
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 1 - 2 Minutes
