With the holidays fast approaching I want to put a little pazazzz in my punch. My friend says there is a punch that uses the special candy cane stick ice cream from Blue Bunny that comes out only this time of year. Does anybody have the recipe? I want to use it for Thanksgiving. It will be my first time hosting Thanksgiving for my family!

I normally don't like punch...but the first time I tried this punch I couldn't get enough! Kids love it, too. Makes a nice holiday and shower punch." Original recipe yield: 24 servings. INGREDIENTS: 1 quart peppermint ice cream 1 cup cold milk 2 liters ginger ale, chilled DIRECTIONS: Place ice cream in a punch bowl, and allow to soften slightly. Blend in milk and ginger ale. Blue Bell Ice Cream makes a Peppermint Ice Cream. I even found recipes that used crushed peppermint or pepermint extract.
