- 2 qts. large cucumbers, peeled, seeded and sliced lengthwise
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 1/2 cups tarragon vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 head dill
Combine cucumbers and salt and let stand 2 hours. Rinse and drain. Bring vinegar, sugar and water to boil and pour over cucumbers. Add dill. Pack in glass jars and refrigerate. Ready to serve in 2 days.
