Repairing a Fence With Lattice

I am a widow on a very limited budget so when moving into my city home from the country and discovering the bakyard fence was in horrible shape I worried I would have to just live with it. Not long after, a friend gave me several pieces of white lattice. I thought, "hmm, maybe it would work".

I screwed it into the old fence along one side of the yard and voila. It actually looks great and you can't see the ugly fence behind it because it is white and the old fence is redwood color. I have also hung pots and other decor onto the lattice.
