How do I make homemade aloe vera oil from that plant?

When I burn myself taking food out of the oven,
I always break a piece of the plant off and rub it
on my burn - it really cools it!

My grandmother would simply slice the frond in half and rub the nectar on our skin. It was quick and cool!
