Kentucky Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 tsp. salt
1 cup pecans

Directions

Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla. Add eggs. Pour into 9 inch pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over all. Bake in heated oven at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Walnuts may also be used or 2/3 cup oatmeal or 1 Rice Krispies or 1 coconut for coconut pie.
