Dishwasher Soap for Cleaning Pans

The best cleaner for dirty pans, crock pots, etc. is dishwasher soap! Just put about a tablespoon full into the pan with some hot water and within a short period of time the baked/dried/cooked on food just rinses right out! It's amazing!

Place the pot in a dish pan or sink of hot water with a cup of powdered dish washer detergent dissolved in it. Let soak overnight, then use a nylon scrubby on the stains. If you cannot submerge the entire pot, do half, then repeat on other half. The el cheapo powder detergent from the dollar store works well, in case you do not have any on hand. This treatment also works well on baking pans with the cooking spray baked on.
