Turn your garments inside out before machine washing and drying to reduce wear on edges and creases. You should also do this if you frequently hang your clothes outside to dry because turning them inside out prevents the sun from fading colors.

Follow care label instructions -- they're there for a reason. If your clothes are machine washable, handwash them to prolong fabric quality. You can also place them inside lingerie nets, but make sure there's room for them to roll around inside; otherwise, they'll wrinkle more easily. Also, make sure you fold and put away your clothes as soon as they come out of the dryer. Turn all clothes inside out before washing!

Fleece wear[sweats] also dries a Lot faster when dried inside out,in the dryer or on the line.
I always hang my pants wide open by the waisteline so the wind makes them look like someone is in them.
Later on I go out, flip them over & hang them by the ankles & I almost always finish them in the dryer.

This will also help to reduce lint transfer from garment to garment (like when a red sweater comes out of the washer covered in black fuzzies from a different sweater)
