Hot Fudge Topping

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder (like Hershey's)
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. corn starch

Directions:

Whisk above together, and put through little sieve if necessary to make sure cocoa powder has no lumps.

Add 3-4 tablespoons milk (skim, whole, evaporated, any will do). A dollop of vanilla, and a dollop of butter as well added after first 30 seconds in microwave.

Microwave 30 seconds in bowl. Whisk, microwave another 30 seconds. It should be smooth and thickened when whisked and look like hot fudge topping.

You can of course thin with another spoon of milk as desired. Pour over ice cream, about 1 tablespoon per scoop. Should serve up to 4.
