Cranberry Iced Tea

I've made this with frozen raspberry juice concentrate too and love it.

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups water
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 8 tea bags
  • 1/2 (12 fluid oz.) can frozen cranberry juice concentrate

Directions:

Place water in large pot and heat on high until boiling. Add sugar and stir until dissolved, add teabags and let steep until desired strength is acquired. Stir in cranberry juice concentrate and allow the tea to cool.

Ocean Spray has a cranberry-tea drink that looks so good but is rather costly. I came up with a cool way to have cranberry iced tea that's a lot cheaper. I buy the cheapest cranberry juice I can find, pour it into my ice cubed trays, and after it's frozen solid I fill up my cup with ice cubes and add tea over top. It's great! Perfect on a hot summer day.

Cranberry Juice Iced Tea

Mmm, what a yummy frugal way to add fruit flavors to fresh brewed ice tea. Thank! I also thought you could use any kind of fruit juice in the same way.
