Help Decorating Burgundy Dining Room

I have painted my dining room burgundy and feather dusted with a light pink in the same color family. I am having trouble accenting the walls. I am not sure what to put on the walls since they look so busy already. I am also thinking about new light switches in a wood... not sure if that would be took dark? Any suggestions? I need all the help I can get.

I'm buying a two toned dining set in distressed black/brown wood. Would burgundy be too dark a color for the walls with the dark table? I'm thinking about just painting one accent wall burgundy and the others a toupe neutral.

I just finished painting one wall in my bedroom a rich burgundy. I'm using a light sage green on my other walls. On the burgundy wall I'm using a large antique mirror with lantern scons and greenery.

Use of gold accents is great also cherry wood, for busy walls always use pictures with large matting

What style are you going for, elegant, modern, something else? The first two suggestions sound great for an elegant look. My sister in law did those colors and went Victorian. It is a busy style but if you have a lot of "things" this works well. Go into an upscale furniture store and see the colors and decorations they use with those colors then go go Wally World or the Salvation Army and imitate them. Have fun

You can try gold accents. Either bright or antiqued.

Do you have curtains? Or a table cloth.

My sister did something similar and used gold,
forest green, and white accents. Looked richly elegant.
