Craft: Build-A-Bear T-Shirt

Trying to find the perfect gift for a great-grandparent that has everything has been tough, but I came up with this Build-A-Bear that I think she will love for less than $15!

Approximate Time: 20 min

Supplies:

  • Your choice of photo
  • Bear size plain white t-shirt
  • Fabric-Stick adhesive back inkjet fabric sheet
  • Home printer

Instructions:

  • Choose your photo and using a photo program, crop image to approximately 3x3 inches.

  • Print image onto fabric sheets following manufacturer's instructions..

  • Peel off adhesive backing and stick to front of t-shirt.

  • Dress bear.

As a Grandma, this is a wonderful idea and I would love to receive the gift. As a grandma, I have made T-shirts like this for each of my grand babies. It says I Love xxxx (child's name).

I used the iron-on transfer paper for the bear t-shirts as they won't need much cleaning. I have used fabric sheets for my printer that I sewed onto a Quilt for longer wear and tear. I intend to make more picture pillows/quilts for my babies.
