A-1 and Honey Recipe

About 9 or 10 years ago there was a recipe on the A-1 bottle for A-1 and honey and it was so good on wings! I didn't write the quantities down as I thought it was so simple I would be able to remember but I can't. I can't seem to get the ratio of A-1 and honey right and emailed the company and got no response. Hope someone remembers this or knows what I am talking about. Thanks.

I remember using the same sort or recipe. It was delicious. But I remember adding juice from a can of pineapples & then topping the chicken w/ the pineapple slices. It was like 1/2 cup of A1 Steak sauce; 1/4 cup of honey & 2-3 tablespoons of the pineapple syrup. When the chicken was about ready, place the pineapple slices on & cook for about 10 min. I even remember wrapping the chicken in foil & putting on the grill. Talk about tasty! Yummy

Pamela,
I googled A-1 recipes and found a site from 2006 with a phone # for a free recipe book.

Free A1 Steak Sauce Recipe Book. Call
1-800-217-3247 and select option #2 to get this freebie.

I tried the number and it is still good. They said I would receive my free recipe book in 7-10 days.
It wouldn't surprise me if your A-1 and Honey recipe was in it.

Can't hurt to try.

Here is another one to use as marinate. You could always leave out the salad dressing and it give a amount of A-1 to an amount of honey. Looks so good I will have to try it. Thanks Lori

1 1/2 cups steak sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 cup Italian-style salad dressing
1/3 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

I will try it! Just substitute A1 for the Heinz 57.

Thanks so much.

Could this be it?

Directions
1. Mix Heinz 57 Sauce and honey together in crockpot, add cocktail weenies.
2. Heat on medium to medium high heat for 2 hours, or until hot.
3. Serve and enjoy!
