Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker Isn't Making Ice

My Kenmore ice maker has stopped working although the water is still dispensing from the front. Please help with any and all troubleshooting ideas?

I had a problem, too. Turned out that the heater that allows the ice to be released was bad and I had to replace the unit.

I had the same problem. A lot of times the hose at the back of the refrigerator has water that feeds to the ice maker that freezes up causing an ice jam. Take a hair blower and thaw the ice blockage up and it should start making ice again.

Kenmore Coldspot 106-53334300 Not Making Ice

My freezer works great, the refrigerator works great, the icemaker does not make ice! I am confused as to where exactly you use the blow dryer. Is it in the back panel or around the icemaker? Please help.

I have a one year old Kenmore fridge with an ice maker that is not working. I changed the water filter yesterday and the water dispenser is working fine. However, the red light on the ice maker control is flashing and the unit is not making any ice. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator that stopped making ice. There is sufficient water pressure at the solenoid valve but there is no water in the tray. I cannot see any ice jammed in the system anywhere.

RE: Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker Isn't Making Ice

Sometimes the opening to the tray freezes up. We use a hair dryer on that one spot. For safety, turn off power to freezer first. (04/04/2009)

RE: Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker Isn't Making Ice

On our Amana we could hear water running for the icemaker and then it would shut off. It did that repeatedly. We discovered a leaking hose only after opening the back of the refrigerator. We cut off the leaking part (shortened the hose) and reconnected it. After that repair, it took quite awhile for the first tray of ice to be made and dumped into the bin. (04/06/2009)

Kenmore ice maker will not fill. Filter screen is clean, with water to solenoid valve. Solenoid is good and water line to ice maker is clear.

I have a Kenmore refrigerator freezer model #596.76503500. The ice maker is not working. How do I check the tubing for ice blockage?

I have a Kenmore side by side model 106.56532400 with the door ice dispenser and water. The water still works, but the ice maker won't make ice. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The ice maker on my Kenmore side by side is not making ice; yet the water dispenser is working, so I know water is coming into the unit.

My Kenmore refrigerator model 106.53502300n is not making ice or dispensing water.

I have a Kenmore white side by side refrigerator Model# 106-56542400. The ice maker is not working we already replaced the filter a week ago and it is still not making any ice at all. On the left side when we open the freezer there's a on/off switch. We have it on on.

We emptied our Kenmore ice maker about two weeks ago and it still hasn't made any more ice. The water works fine and we have checked everything.
