- 1/4 lb. softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, grated
- 7/8 cup unsifted cake flour - yes, that's right
- dash of salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 carton whipped cream
Butter 9 inch pie pan. Cream the softened butter with the sugar, add vanilla. Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time. Add unsweetened chocolate. Blend in sifted cake flour, salt, chopped pecans. Bake in pie plate for 20-25 minutes at 325 degrees F. When cool, spread with whipped cream.
