Apple Brown Betty
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 cups sliced apples
Melt butter in small casserole dish. Meanwhile, mix all other ingredients and pour into dish over apples. Bake approximately 30 minutes, until browned, at 350 degrees F. Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream or alone.
