Is it safe to use a flooring tile for cooking? What if the tile contains lead or some other toxin?

No need to go out and buy a fancy expensive baking tile to produce a crisp bottom on your pizza and French bread. An unglazed terra-cotta tile purchased from a flooring or tile store can just easily substitute.
