Wendy's Ranch Dipping Sauce Recipe

Does anyone know who makes the yummy Ranch dipping sauce for Wendy's. My daughter loves it with chicken nuggets and I like it with veggies. I think it's called "Heartland Ranch". I wondered if there is a company that makes it for them and I could buy some for home use, or if anyone knew how to make it?

Thanks,
Debbie52 from IL

Chicha de Jingibre Recipe

Fermented ginger drink - also known as Chicha de jingibre in Nicaragua. Non-alcoholic. Traditionally served to children and adults as a cooling refreshing beverage. "Hot" while swallowed - this might be due to spices. Any one have a recipe? I've checked all the search engines, and could come up with a mention of the beverage, but not the actual recipe.

I have a friend on chemo and since she remembers this from her childhood, the ginger content might help to cut back on nausea (pending MD approval).

Thanks,
Holly from Richardson, TX

Mom's Burger Dish

This is my favorite comfort food and to this day, when I am feeling blue, I make it and feel better.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large can tomato soup
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Make beef into thick patties and fry until done to your preference. Make the mashed potatoes while the burgers are frying, you can use cooked potatoes or make instant. When the burgers are almost done, pout the tomato soup over them and heat until bubbling, add no water or milk to soup. When the tomato soup is bubbling, dish up the mashed potatoes, cover with tomato soup and put a burger next to it.

Simple, easy, inexpensive...and sooo good!
