I live in a small town and when i first moved here all the town was blazen in Christmas lights. it was a wonderful site. Not many people do it now but we are trying to encourage them to!
I love Christmas decorations; we have candy canes down the sidewalk in front of our home and hurricane lanterns down the driveway; there are candy canes around the trees; the candy canes at the sidewalk have blinking lights; we have large Christmas balls suspended on straightened coat hangers hung in the trees. I have a large sphere shaped Christmas ornament that is hung in a tree with a swivel attachment to it; it spins and is very pretty.
I agree!!! Christmas comes once a year with the decorations!
