Pepper Plants Not Flowering?

I planted 4 different kinds of peppers this spring. They all look wonderful and healthy. The problem is only the green and banana peppers are bearing fruit. The other plants don't even have flowers.

Sometimes over-fertilizing can cause plants to have lush leaves, but produce little or no fruit. They also don't produce as much if they are in a container as opposed to being planted in the ground. I have found that some types of pepper plants don't produce well no matter what I do.

A tip for next year, Bell Boy green peppers produce lots of large peppers per plant and are easy to grow. The plants and seeds aren't easy to find, but during spring planting time, there are usually a few people who sell Bell Boy plants on eBay.
