Angel was 2 months in photo (Now he is 2 years old) Was found on the side of a stretch of Highway 138, with no houses around. My husband pulled over and opened the door, and in jumped the sickly cat. He is doing just great now.

Hi Teresa,
I love the story of your cat.
At the same time, your name is familiar.
Is your husband's name Alastair?

Theresa,
how sweet, your husb. pulling over for the kitty!
=^..^= I love that sweet picture how peaceful he looks all cuddled up snug, knowing he has a home.
I agree rescued pets are the best, I have a rescued
dog and she is the most loving pet ever.
God Bless you for taking in this kitten.

What a precious baby, especially with his little pink toes! All of my babies are rescues and they are the most loving, I'm so glad that your husband picked up Angel for you.
Aww, what a dear little guy! More people need to see that just because they have fur, tails, fangs and claws that it does not mean that they are not capable of not just receiving love, but giving it. When the animal is a rescue, I think deep down, that little kitten, dog, or whatever knows and shows love even more so. God Bless.
Oh Teresa,
He is so adorable. All of my kitties have been strays and they were and still are wonderful. I love them so. I just lost me 17 year old stray, "Baby".
Your darling kitty reminds me of her.
Thanks so much for sharing
Oh Teresa, he is beautiful and I'm sure quite the handsome boy now!
All of my kitties and dogs have either come from rescue leagues, or in the case of the kitties, I've found them as you did Angel.
In my opinion rescues make the best companion pets, they are so thankful for a loving home and family.
Thank you so much for sharing Angel's heartwarming story.
