My 2 year old just used an ink pen on my computer screen. I just put a dab of colgate toothpaste on a baby wipe (both items everyone has when you've got kids!) and the pen came off with no scrubbing at all! Try it next time....well, hopefully there won't be a next time!

I was glad when I Google Pen on Computer screen I was not the only mom of a three year that experienced the same event. The magic eraser took it off with ease. My husband didn't even have time to calm down

Thank you so much! I had no idea what to do when my girls decided to draw on the screen, I used all this "special spray" and then read this, my boyfriend was FURIOUS. Now because of the magic eraser, it's gone!

Thank you for the great idea of Magic Eraser. It worked perfectly. I tried to gain two minutes by letting my two year old play on the computer, it has now cost me 20 minutes of trying to clean the screen!

Took the advise of the magic eraser, and of course, it worked. This magic eraser has yet to fail me. For some reason, I didn't think to try it on the monitor, but glad I did... thanks for the advise!

My three year old drew all over our monitor screen with permanent pen. We got it off releatively easily with Magic Eraser.

Try rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. (09/09/2006)

You could also try the cleaner used for dry erase boards. My daughter drew on my flatscreen LCD monitor with a permanent marker and the cleaner took it off... took a couple of applications and a bit of pressure, but I didn't have to be angry with her! She was 2 at the time. Good luck! (09/11/2006)

This question reminds me of a blonde joke. How do you know a blonde has been using your computer? The white-out on the screen! Hope you're not blonde. Hope I gave you a laugh. (09/11/2006)
