I have a multi room activity area. One side is painted a grayish blue color (teen media room), the other is a bright bold blue (toddler play area) the trim is white. There is an archway with no door connecting the two.

I am trying to pick a carpet color that will match both. Blues and grays seem blah. A gold tan seems nice, but I am still feeling unsure. Help. Color suggestions? The paint colors are Respite and Danube from Sherwinn Williams.
