I have a recipe that is a fast great meal. It is called five decker meal. You great a big 2 quart pot. ON the bottom of the pot you layer good quality bacon, then on the next layer you put a layer of seasoned meatballs, the next layer you put cut up and peeled potatoes, and then a layer of cut up onions. Cut up like the onion rings, and a layer of rings of bell pepper. Last layer is a layer of french style green beans. You put a lid on the pot, cook on low for one hour, and then when the potatoes are done--the meal is done. It is delicious and easy.

Is there any liquid in this recipe to help it cook? Or is the bacon sufficient to keep it from sticking to the pan and burning? It just seems like it needs some water or something. Thanks,
