Deeli is correct about payday loans. Unless you are sure you have the money to cover it, plus money to live on until your next payday, you will be in deeper debt than you started. Take it from someone who knows!

I have also tried to do a payday loan online and in person in the town I live in and it was a nightmare. I do not recommend them at all. I had one and the person went to my bank and pulled out my money from the bank without my permission to pay it back. I do not recommend it again.

Read the archived links below and please do not use even local payday loan companies :-( They are nothing more than legal loan sharks and you have to pay way too much money for that loan :-( Also, it would frighten me to death to be giving out banking and/or social security info :-o Maybe you could borrow from a family member or friend and make them a nice dinner in exchange for interest? Also, some employers will work with you and give an advance and some will even deduct in installments from future checks without paying interest or a fee.
The payday advance loans are a ripoff. They charge you interest rates that would normally be illegal in banks. If you needed the money in the first place, you will have to come up with the money to pay the finance company after you used the money for what you wanted it for in the first place, and then the interest. Trust me. You are better off borrowing from friends, family, or someone who is more than half a step up from loan-sharking. (08/13/2009)
