I may be able to help you stock your discount store. Email me at djsavesyoumoney AT rocketmail.com for more information.

"It's canny" "isn't it canny" (with canny meaning 'frugal') would be good names. Also "the dented can" "al dente discounts" "dented delectables" "dings 'n discounts" "cans 'n more" "can u buy" "nicks 'n such". By the way, when I see the word "discount", I do want to shop there!

There is a Dented can company in Fontana, CA and it's name is Dentco. I use to shop there all the time until they started charging almost as much as new cans costs at the grocers, then I dropped them.

Want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I really appreciate it. Already have a call into SCORE. Will let everyone know when the doors are open!

How about Diamond's? Because Diamond's is a girl's best friend.

I would not use the word "discount" in the name of the store. Nor would I use any terms that imply the merchandise is less than normal. We want to sell your product here.

Someone else has suggested Can You top This. Or maybe Cans and More would work. Only you can decide.

How about Dent and Bent? Or your town's name discount grocery. Or your name and Discount grocery. We have Shetler's Discount Grocery here. (Their last name) and Seymour Discount Grocery (our town) We love to shop at ours and I'm sure you will have great success. Blessings to you as you start your business!

In our area we have an organization called SCORE. It consists of retired business people who help small businesses with any questions including start-up. I would start there in researching the proper way to begin. I like the name U-CAN-SAVE but I don't know if it's taken or not. That would be another question for your mentors. Good luck.

I know nothing about starting a business but I think a good name would be CAN-U-top this?
