Dollar stores and thrift stores are great places to pick up some cheap greeting cards. Don't underestimate the power of a greeting card. Taking the time to express the right sentiments can easily make someone's day.
what I do is to get all cards one month "ahead" of time an then you will not forget to have them on hand also mark it on your calendar the day to mail them so they will get there ahead of time.
