Rate It: Any uses for those leftover 1/2 bags of potato/tortilla chips that NO ONE will touch after 2 days? Remember, camouflage is the KEY word here! The family can't actually identify it as leftover chips in the resulting recipe. Post Feedback: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf95795417.tip.html

Rate It: Flavored Tortillas Used to Make Wraps I worked at a restaurant in GA where we made wraps (sandwiches) with different flavors of wraps (outside like tortillas). They were spinach, tomato, wheat, etc. When looking online I find flour tortillas and sandwich wraps but none of the other outside wraps. Does anyone know where I can find these recipes? Rate It: Ground Beef Casserole with Mayonnaise Topping When my kids were growing up, I had a recipe for a casserole using ground beef with a puffy topping using mayonnaise. Sounded yuck, but it was delicious. Does anyone have the recipe to this casserole dish? Post Feedback: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf62214602.tip.html

With the Super Bowl game coming soon, these meatballs make an excellent part of the party foods to serve. I've been serving these meatballs since the first Super Bowl game, and made my own meatballs until the convenience of frozen ones came into being. Ingredients
Directions In a saucepan, combine juice, jelly, ketchup and tomato sauce. Cook and stir over medium heat until jelly is melted. Remove from heat. Place meatballs in 5-quart slow cooker. Pour sauce over top and gently stir to coat. Cover and cook on LOW 4 hours, until heated through Makes approximately: 11 dozen meatballs Note: I add a few drops of hot sauce to one batch of these meatballs, giving the guests a choice of two flavors. Directions Set oven to 350 degrees F. While warming, slice your muffins in half. Lay tops and bottoms next to each other on a cookie sheet lined with foil so you can just throw it away. :-) Happiness, no cookie sheet to wash. It does not matter if you use a large or small cookie sheet as they will not spread out while baking. Starting on your first muffin, add 1 tsp. sauce, then decide from there how much you will want to use. Then add cheese and just keep adding on whatever you have chosen. :-) Happiness again, everything is in a can you can just throw it all away. Bake for 15-20 minutes, watching carefully the first time because you know how ovens are. It may be take longer or shorter. When the muffins are brown and the cheese is melted, it should be done. I love this recipe, it is simple and kids can do this, if they are old enough and you're busy and need a quick lunch. Good luck, hope you like it as much as we do. Directions Sift together flour, sugar and cocoa. Cream butter and gradually add egg yolks. Add flour mixture to butter mixture and stir thoroughly. Beat egg whites until until stiff and fold in well. Bake in greased and floured 9 inch pan at 300 degrees F for about 35 minutes. When cool, remove from pan and slice horizontally into 2 thin layers. Fill and frost with chocolate mousse, which you have already chilled for at least 4 hours. For Mousse: Place egg yolks, chocolate, whipping cream and sugar in electric blender. Blend at low speed for 2-3 minutes. Add egg whites and blend for 3 minutes more. Chill for at least 4 hours before frosting and filling cake.
