---> One more tip: USE 100% ACRYLIC PAINT (for indoor or outdoor). Most people don't know that they can buy a much better paint than Latex (or Oil) paint for even less money. They sell 100% Acrylic paint formulated for indoor or outdoor use in ALL sheen's & every color at Home Depot & most paint stores. At Home depot this wonderful 100% Acrylic paint cost less money (but is only sold by the gallon) about $11 per Gallon (last time I checked around 6 months ago). Most people only use this high quality paint for rockery, brickwork & masonry painting because it will stick to anything without the need of a primer. But, think about it, If 100% Acrylic paint lasts longer & holds up better than regular latex or latex mixed with acrylic or even oil based paint & sells for less money, why not use it instead!? This is the same wonderful paint that artists buy in tiny 2 - 4 ounce bottles at art & craft stores to paint indoor or outdoor wall murals with. If it's good enough for the professional painters to use, it's about time others started to use this wonderful, long-lasting paint it as well!

Measure your walls (height multiplied by width) to get your square footage. (and ceiling if you are doing that too). Look on paint can and it will give you the amount of square footage that it will cover.
