I have what I can only describe as bleached spots on my black laminate counter top. Does anyone now how to remove them, or are they bleached permanently. Thx

Does anyone know how I can clean my black laminate benchtop. No matter what I use, it always seems to look dirty.

Any ideas?

Laminate is only paper with coating. When that coating has worn off you will get a different color. They don't make laminate like they use to. We own a cabinet shop and we get complaints like this all the time. The only thing you can do is us a permanent marker or replace the counter top.

Don't know what the spots could be but I have a solution that will not look perfect but better than it is now. Cover the white areas with a permanent black marker. I have done this on purses, pants, etc and it has held up through the wash. Good luck.
