- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup white corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 qt. popped corn
- 1 qt. wheaties
- 1 qt. cheerios
- 1 qt. puffed rice
Boil sugar, syrup, water, butter and salt until it spins a long thread. Add vanilla and pour over popcorn and other puffs. It doesn't take long to make, about 10-15 minutes.
