Country Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 lb. country seasoned sausage, fried
  • 16 cups cooked shredded potatoes
  • 2 peppers, chopped

Sauce Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 3 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chicken base
  • 3 Tbsp. sour cream and onion powder
  • 2 tsp. seasoning salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese

Directions

Heat water and thicken with milk and flour. With wire whisk, mix in spices and cheese. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees F until hot.

Yield: 30 servings.
