Never put dryer sheets between the pages of a book! The chemicals in them are highly toxic and they penetrate the paper and stay there for years.

Many people are extra sensitive to these chemicals and a few minutes of reading your "fresh smelling" book can cause a severe reaction - redness, swelling, itching, and a burning sensation on our hands.
