I have a Gizmo can opener made by Black & Decker. It will not charge. Do you have any ideas what might be wrong? It has a nickel-cadmium battery, d-aa600x22.4v. I would appreciate a answer if you have one.

Do you clean the terminals with a pencil eraser to get a good connection? I have the same opener and that is help my charging.
