Try "Beauty Secrets" NON-ACETONE nail polish remover from Sally Beauty Supply. I broke a bottle of hot pink nail polish on my ivory-toned linoleum floor, and used the above product. I tried a test spot in a corner under a piece of furniture first and the floor was unaffected by the NON-ACETONE cleaner. I removed the pink nail polish with cotton and remover with very little effort. Used "Mop and Glo" to refresh floor with consistent shine. Good luck!

I would be cautious with the polish remover since it may damage the floor. For years I have been using an inexpensive all purpose cleaner called "Mean Green" found at most dollar & discount stores...and recently taken on by Walmart. One of the things it does well is remove latex paint. I would suggest spraying it on the paint and let it "soak" ( it works getting latex paint out of clothing too) and then gently scrape it off so you don't tear the floor. Let me know how that worked for you. payhoun
