Why not design a scrapbook page, blow it up poster size (to be displayed on an easel, ON THE FLOAT), and, here's the kicker, recreate the page as your float. With some advance planning and creativty, a living scrapbook page would be an excellent advertising vehicle, not to mention a wonderful way to incorporate the parade theme. Best wishes!!!
