I am looking for ideas for a parade float for a scrapbooking store. It has a theme of dragonflies and the parade theme is 100 years of history. Any ideas? I want a really original float. Thanks.

How about "Today's Pleasures make Tomorrow's Memories," using family outings, a baseball player,a cheerleader,(maybe dressed in old timey outfits), a graduate,a mother and newborn,a family Beach outing,(including dragonflies) a cookout, with the backdrop being a BIG SCRAPBOOK PAGE.Let your imagination go wild.

Just a suggestion... Why not design a scrapbook page, blow it up poster size (to be displayed on an easel, ON THE FLOAT), and, here's the kicker, recreate the page as your float. With some advance planning and creativty, a living scrapbook page would be an excellent advertising vehicle, not to mention a wonderful way to incorporate the parade theme. Best wishes!!!
