What Color Is Grover?

Ok everyone, I need your opinion. We are having a debate on sesame street's grover. Is he blue or purple? I say blue.

Indigo! a tint between violet and dark blue! The original Grover, the first year, was GREEN!

On one of my son's DVDs, Grover sings with some of the other Sesame Street monsters, and the song is called "Fuzzy And Blue"--hope that confirms it for your co-worker! :)

I say he's blue also...but he's a different shade of blue than Cookie Monster! He's a darker blue, maybe like a lapis blue? I guess it depends on how you have your color set on the TV!!!

I am looking at a stuffed "Marshall" Grover, a very blue "Marshall" Grover (my son's toy from way back, but he has always been blue:-)

Here's a little picture from the Sesame Street site. He looks blue in most of the pictures but in this one he looks a little bit purple. I've always thought of him as BLUE.
