Nutty Granola

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups regular oats, uncooked
  • 1 cups pecan halves
  • 1 pkg. sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup sunflower kernels
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 container diced dried fruit mix

Directions:

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir well, and set aside. Combine honey and next 4 ingredients, and warm in sauce pan. Pour over oats mixture, and stir well. Spread evenly in a jellyroll pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool. Stir in dried fruit. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
