Pizza Crust

The kids will soon be out of school and what kid doesn't like pizza?

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg size scoop of butter
  • 1 pkg yeast

Directions:

Dissolve yeast in the water. Then add all ingredients, knead just to finish mixing well. Press into pan and top with favorite toppings.

Bake 16 to 20 minutes at 425 degrees F until crust is golden.

Sounds like a nice easy dough to make. I love working with any type of yeast bread and making all the various treats that can be made using Yeast Doughs. With all the college kids in and out of here over the summer, this is one we'll use often.

Recipe: Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 4 cups white flour

Directions

Mix yeast and water until yeast is dissolved. Then add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 2 large pizza crusts.
