Maple Popcorn Balls
These yummy popcorn balls are easy to make and are perfect for a snack or even a bake sale.
- 1 1/2 qts. popcorn
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
Sprinkle salt over popped corn. Cook butter, syrup and sugar to 275 degrees F on candy thermometer and pour over corn, stirring constantly. Dip hands in cold water and shape popcorn into balls. Makes 12.

I don't have a candy thermometer, so I was wondering about how long the butter, sugar, and syrup should cook?
