Most Loblows stores have it. The one in College Square sells for sure, I've also bought it at their downtown location.

I too have had a huge dilemma like you my brother has always wanted to create slime for fun and I could never find Borax I searched in every single store in my place (Canada) which was probably around 20 stores when I finally went to Wall mart I found it! I hope you have fun using it (It's in the laundry detergent area at the very top or in the stock room tricky!)

If your grocery store does not carry it you can ask them to place an order for you. Most stores are required to do so at no additional charge to you.

Here in Dallas, Texas you can find it at most Krogers and Albertsons with the detergents. Also Sack N Save, but no Walmart.

If you're looking for 20 Mule Team Borax, you can search for store locations on their corporate website:

On the first drop down menu (BRAND), choose LAUNDRY DETERGENT. An ITEM drop down menu will appear, and choose 20 MULE TEAM BORAX. You can then enter your zip code and it'll search for stores in your area (BTW, use Internet Explorer - the search doesn't seem to work too well with Firefox.) Good luck!

I have called around and I have found some 20 MuleTeam Borax at, you'll never guess it, Food Lion...So my suggestion, is to call one of your local grocery stores and see if they carry it. Happy hunting!
Editor's note: Here is the Pacific Northwest it is easy to find at nearly all grocery stores, WalMart and many hardware stores.

I tried to look for borax in Pathmark in Ventnor Heights, NJ, but I could't find any. I haven't tried in Walmart yet, but I will. I need it really badly to make silly putty!

Same here. Our WalMart carries it but it's way up on the top shelf, and across from the laundry detergent -near the dishwashing soap and bleach. The one I buy is 20 Mule Team Borax and it comes in a stout box that is mostly yellow with torquoise trim.

I've fond it at Wal-Mart, Chantal. But I had to ask for help (it was tucked way in the back, behind other laundry detergents). Superstore carries it as well, I believe.

OUR WALMART SELLS BORAX ALL THE TIME,IT IS CALLED 20 MULE TEAM BORAX,BUT YOU CAN'T FIND IT AT "EYE LEVEL" YOU HAVE TO LOOK UP TO FIND IT.......GOOD LUCK

Do you have a Brookshire's near where you live? That is where I found mine in Texas.TIP: I have noticed the things they are trying to sell are usually at eye level. I found the Borax on the top shelf.I did not find any at Walmart.

Are you sure you are looking in the right place at Wal-Mart? Our Wal-Mart has 20 Mule Team Borax in the laundry section. We have a small Wal-Mart, too. Not a Super Center. Ask for some assistance. I'll bet they have some somewhere. Most department stores carry it as well as most grocery stores.
