I have a very simple recipe that I use but its cooked in the oven. Less than 5 minutes to prepare and 2 hrs cooking. Its creamy and tastes great.

Spray baking dish with Pam. Preheat oven to 325°
1/4 cup rice (not instant)
4 cups scalded milk (I use powered milk so don't need to scald)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins (sometimes I add chopped apples)
Stir a few times while cooking. Good hot or cold. Serves 6
