Suddenly last night, everything came together. I popped the box, without a bottom over the WiFi and tucked all the nasty wires inside. Now I have a decorative cube near my TV, which by fortunate coincidence is colour coordinated with the tables in the rest of the room.
Wow, do I feel good about this. I am going to do something similar with all the other obnoxious wires we have to live with, under my desk for all the computer spaghetti.

You have a wonderful idea! I only wish you could unplug some of those items without losing important data. Even when they're covered, those little blinking lights mean those items are drawing energy. Energy conservationists call them "energy vampires" and suggest you unplug what you can. You may be surprised at the reduction in your electricity bill if you do this.
What a brilliant idea! I have a pile of wires behind my TV on my kitchen counter (telephone, cell phone, cable hookup etc.) They drive me nuts. By tomorrow they will be covered by a lovely upholstered box. Thanks so much!
I know what you mean about the blinking light. I got up in the middle of the night last night and when I walked into my living room it looked like I little UFO"S everywhere. All these little lights were blinking everywhere. On the TV, DVD player, phone handsets, the light on the front of my lap top. There was red, gold, and green lights all over the place. It almost made me laugh. So I like this idea I'll have to look around my house to see what I can use to do the same. Thanks, thumbs up!
